10 Ways To Eat Healthy And Stay Alert At Work
- Don't leave home without it- Breakfast. Oatmeal or healthy shake or bar make a great choice if you're on the go.
- Space your meals throughout the day. Never go longer than 4 hours without eating.
- Snack on low-fat foods when there is no time for lunch.
- Pack your desk and briefcase with fresh fruit, almonds, or other healthy snacks.
- Drink lots of water. Try to drink at least one glass every hour you are at work to keep you energy up.
- Limit coffee, tea and pop to two servings per day at the most. Caffeine can drain vital fluids and also cause the body to lose water.
- Pass on the doughnuts and other junk food, except as an occasional treat. Remember #1 and eat breakfast at home.
